The Solstice Series: Summer Edition

Summer has come and we enjoy the long warm days. Every year in late June we get the day of Solstice, literally meaning the “sun-stopping” from the Latin language. During this day the sun seems to stand still giving us its light and warmth. It is the longest day of the year that has many different meanings across the globe. The Solstice’s often associated with rebirth, celebrated with rituals and special gatherings. Do you know the Stonehenge? This mysterious monument in Wiltshire, England when looking from its center shows that the sun rises at a certain point, which can mean that ancient humans used it to organize their calendars long time ago.

It is officially the first day of summer so it is a time to bring more shine to your home. Add a golden touch with our Solstice collection lighting up your interior for the whole year.
